On July 29, Werth research fellows celebrated the end of the summer component of the Werth IAF program by showcasing their research to representatives from the Werth Family. This 8-week program, made possible by an endowment from the Werth Family Foundation, connects students with industry professionals and faculty to explore the business-related aspect of of science and technology. This team-based, interdisciplinary research is motivated by industry needs to address sustainability challenges using nano and quantum technologies. Student teams covered quantum optics, photonics, computation for materials discovery, supercapacitors, fuel cells, batteries, and IC chips.
